NetAnatomy was selected by Scientific American as one of the top 50 science and technology websites for 2004, garnishing NetAnatomy a coveted 2004 Science & Technology Web Award. NetAnatomy was one of only five websites selected in the Health & Medicine category.

NetAnatomy was independently evaluated by an editorial board of the Institute of Scientific Information (ISI) of Thomson Reuters. Based on a strict set of evaluation criteria that emphasizes quality, design, and accuracy, NetAnatomy was chosen in 2002 for inclusion in ISI's Current Web Contents.
